Refresher Orb privacy

Updated October 15, 2026

Refresher Orb refreshes your load-board searches and identifies newly discovered loads. Searches, filters, per-tab driver names, elapsed time and discovery history are processed in your browser. We do not read or send your load-board passwords, cookies, authorization headers or request bodies to Orb.

Account access

The portal stores your name, email address, password hash, approval status, hashed session and installation credentials, and access audit events. One browser installation is allowed per account. Signing in again ends previous sessions and installation access. Extension credentials cannot access portal or administrator routes.

Monitoring statistics

The extension sends a random run identifier and cumulative elapsed milliseconds about every 30 seconds, when stopping, and when a tab closes. These are associated with your Orb account so administrators can view total tab runtime and daily totals in America/New_York time. Concurrent tabs add together; paused time is excluded. No load IDs, driver names or search data are included in runtime reports.

Optional Telegram alerts

Telegram is disabled until you connect a private chat from the portal and press Start in the bot. When connected, the extension sends newly discovered load IDs, available search-result details, available load links and your chosen per-tab driver name to Orb for delivery to that chat. Orb temporarily stores delivery payloads for retries, deletes the payload after delivery, and expires unsent payloads within 30 minutes. Event hashes used to prevent duplicate delivery expire after 24 hours. Infrastructure backups may retain older database snapshots for their configured retention period. Telegram stores delivered messages under its own privacy policy. Disconnect Telegram in the portal or send /stop to the bot to stop future alerts and remove queued deliveries.

Administrator approval alerts

Connected administrators receive pending account requests in their private Telegram chat, including the requester's name, email address and registration time. Approval buttons expire after seven days and check the administrator's current role, chat connection and the request's current status before granting access. Approval events are audited. Disconnect Telegram or send /stop to stop these notices.

Extension update notices

When a new extension version is deployed successfully, connected Telegram accounts receive a version announcement and a link to the portal. Orb records the version and delivery status to avoid repeating notices on redeployment. Disabled or disconnected accounts are excluded at delivery. Disconnect Telegram or send /stop to stop future update notices.

Browser permissions

Storage saves settings, installation credentials and per-tab monitoring state. Alarms wake the retry watchdog. Offscreen audio plays the selected alert while other tabs are active. Access to the load-board site is used to observe search results and operate its native refresh and pagination controls. Access to the Orb portal is used to sign in, validate approval and relay optional alerts.

Your choices

You can pause each tab, mute sounds, disconnect the extension, disconnect Telegram, or uninstall the extension at any time. Booking remains manual. Chrome or computer sleep can delay monitoring; no uninterrupted timing guarantee is made. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or send it to unrelated services.
